Raina, a middle order left handed batsman is a crucial cog in the CSK batting line-up and is one part of the very backbone of MS Dhoni's side. Raina may have fallen out of favour from the Indian team, but the southpaw has been consistently performing through all the seasons of the tournament. The southpaw played 15 matches in the 2018 edition of the tournament and scored 445 runs with four half centuries to boast off, and the record of being the only batsman to have scored more than 300 runs in every season of the tournament.
In the final against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Raina scored 32 before being dismissed in what was eventually a winning cause.
